Call for Diagrams - MFPP's booklet  Rencontres de mai 2007

Post by Aurèle »

French Origami Convention 2007 will take place in Paris between the 17th
and 20th of May, at Asiem, near the Invalides, in the heart of the city.
Special Guests will be Eric Joisel (France) and Dave Brill (UK).

For others informations (fees, timeline), you can download the PDF file
here :
http://design.origami.free.fr/conventio ... ai2007.pdf

If you have diagrams of your own creation and would like to see them
published, we prepare the Convention Book.

Please send them or ask more infos to Aurele Duda
(convention2007@aurele-origami.com - be careful, this is not the MFPP's
email).

Preferred formats are vector based drawing program, PDF, bitmap image
(300dpi) minimum, or clean hard copy to my home address (on ask). Please avoid photos diagrams, we are not able to print them effectively. Ask me
(convention2007@aurele-origami.com) for more informations.

Feel free to include few lines about yourself, we will be happy to had
these in the book.

All authors published will receive an hard copy of the Convention Book.
Deadline is the 15th April, but do not wait to send your masterpieces !

Happy folding,

Aurele Duda

Sorry for the late reply, Aurèle. I would glady submit diagrams, but I feel that all my diagrams are much too short to be in a convention book. However, maybe some of the people who made diagrams for the Christmas origamibook would like to submit their diagrams here, too? Also, do the diagrams have to be in french, or is that not a problem?

No, it's not a problem. If a French translation is really useful (long text, complex explanation), I may add it to the diagram.

One more question: What can be expected in the way of how much is in the diagrams submitted? For instance, would only one page be too short?

No, it is not too short if the diagram and the model are good ;-)
