This isn't a complete list: there'll be at least 150 delegates, and now accommodation is fully booked. But you can come as a day vistor: you need to book and pay beforehand here.

Looking forward to an astounding weekend and to seeing lots of you there.

I can't go to it, but this Fall there IS going to be a convention in Vancouver. It's the Pacific Coast Origami Conference 2007. It's held every two years in the fall, somewhere near the west coast. (Two years ago it was in Phoenix, and two before that it was in San Diego, the only convention I've been to.) Go to http://www.pcoc2007.com

Agh, I'd still probably have to wait a few years until I can travel by myself since 1) I'm starting college on Sep. 26th and 2) My parents wouldn't let me go alone (I haven't met other origami enthusiasts yet, hopefully that will change in college). But it's a nice group of people here too. I should start an origami convention fund ASAP, haha.

I am still not sure if I am coming or not.
The British government has done all that it can to shaft junior / middle grade doctors, and despite 16 days of turmoil, the rota for the hospital I am working at is still not finalised.
I allegedly have the 6th to the 9th off.
Hopefully I'll attend for some of it...

I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

Me me!
I had a lot of fun the last time I attended the BOS convention (5 years ago),
and I'm very happy to attend this year. Can't wait to get there and meet y'all.

When it says "formal", some of us won't be wearing tiesAnine wrote:Hi!
Who is going to the formal dinner? And anyone knows if there'll be entertainment and stuff or if it's more about organisational-issues?
Regards,
Anine
I'm organising entertainment for friday night, if you can dance, sing or tell rambling jokes, let me know...
