I just attended the "Origami Facatativá 2017" convention, a small convention in some little cosy town.

There will be an origami convention in Australia next year

Folding Australia Origami 2020 has been confirmed for the 8th-9th of August in Sydney.

Winnie Leung who can be found on Facebook will release more details once they are available. Yay!

Yes and as far as I understood it, it is one week before the Tanteidan convention in Japan and two weeks before the Korean convention. So if anyone has three or four weeks and a lot of money to spare he can make a big Origami convention tour travelling the east.
Jun Mitani will be special guest at the Australian convention.

There will be a convention for about 150 people in Chicago in October - I will be attending and plan to teach one class and bring some items to display. Any one else going? What would you like me to teach - I have over 500 original designs. What would you like me to bring for my display table? For examples of my work do a Google search for "Best of Firstfold" then visit either Flickr or Youtube. Sign up will be for Chicago Area people first (120 miles from Chicago, is what I think I saw somewhere). The remaining spots are open to all.
I can also make suggestions for things to see in Chicago if interested.

Check Origami USA website for Details.
