"31 Tablecards From a Square"... where'd it go?

Post by Terranova »

It used to be home.no.net/origami, but it's gone now and I can't find any remnants of it. Are there any known mirror sites or page files of the diagrams? There were some awesome tablecards on that site, and it'd be a shame to lose them.

Too bad, it's been a really good site. You can find the whole homepage archived on http://web.archive.org here's a sample link: http://web.archive.org/web/200801260928 ... t/origami/

I agree, this is indeed a great shame.
I've often delighted at Mr Birkelands designs and have never yet got around to folding the 145 point sea urchin.
Here's hoping that it will return, maintained, in the near future and thanks be for the way back machine!

The Wayback Machine seems only to be a Slightly Back Machine... over half of the diagrams on the archived site are dead. I'm gonna see if I can possibly contact Mr. Birkeland himself and request the diagrams.

I don't think he will be "so kind" to send you the diagrams, since he has a book published with the tablecards in it
http://www.amazon.de/x/dp/3938127082
a little to late for you, I'm afraid.

The diagrams in the book aren't published on the homepage, they are completely different designs.

Hi,
I have only recently discovered that my site home.no.net/origami had disappeared. The host has closed the service without notice. After some searching around, I have uploaded the site to a new address, which is:

http://www.hansbirkeland.150m.com

If any of you discover any faults there, please let me know.
