I'm interested in the forums from Russia, although I don't speak the language, and I found two different origami forums:
Who knows both forums, or at least can speak the language? I wish to know why are there two different forums, if both deal with similar subjects, if both are just as active, etc.
Can anyone please help me out?... thank you

Re: Two russian forums?
If anyone is still interested, I can tell you The Tale Of Two Forums.
At the beginning of time (since 2006, actually) oriart.ru was the only forum in Russia. It truly was the cradle of russian origami, all our origamists dwelled there. One can still find the old topics where Andrey Ermakov was making his first photodiagrams of complex patterns. Everything seemed new, we have just discovered tracing paper and brown kraft, so these threads and photos look quite touching now
In the summer of 2010 some problems with the hosting happened, the site haven't been available for a long time and we became desperate and homeless. Andrey Lukyanov offered us a shelter on his site loveorigami.info and we moved to a new place. I remember thinking that it all was feeling like revolution and emigration
In a couple of months, of course, Oriart was restored, it came through several changes of administration (now it is moderated by your humble servant ) and became functional again.
Since then we have two different forums inhabited by the same people. It's a bit crazy, "don't try this at home"©.

What YOU DO IS go To keyboard In settings wizard and pick russian As a keyboard option...It helps if YOU open In chrome browser As there IS a translation option for different languages
