are the jackalope diagrams illegal? if not i would really like to see them.

are the WALL-E diagrams illegal, i knew there were some, but i'd really like to see them if they aren't illegal.
Even if most of them are, i'd love to see the ones that aren't.

Thanks! I was worried going into it because of the thinness issue, but i really wanted to make such an awesome model, so i gave it a shot and it stood very solidly, suprisingly. Hes so b**a** he can carry a battery, see?

@Harpseal. Considering the fact how there's only a cp out for it--probably.
@tryingtofoldsumthing--haha, that is pretty stellar. The Nazgul looks like it's trying to kiss the battery.

Awww. Oh well. I love the model tryingtofoldsumthing! It must be pretty strong, batteries are normally quite heavy for their size.

yeah, well if i had tried to bend the legs to make them more realistic, the legs would lose all their strength. They are strong now because i left them with that original rigidity that the paper has, not bending or folding them more then necessary.

Which is better, strength of asthetics? depends on the folder, the purpose, and the model.

I think asthetics over strength, but having a strong model always helps :D

It doesn't matter how good it looks if it won't stay up. But there's MC for that.

What do you mean by MC? I think you did really well because you don't often get an opportunity to choose between asthetics and strength. Normally i end up with the one i don't want but when i do the results are more pleasing than i'd normally find them otherwise. I have only ever gotten to choose once.

I mean that you could maybe apply MC to the weak parts of the model to make them more crisp and stronger.
Although usually the difference between standing and lying down is as simple as a stand.

No, i don't actually know what "mc" is! If i do, i've never heard it being called mc.

MC is methyl cellulose, if you do a search on the board you will find a great deal of information. It is a water soluble glue that is used to finish models and treat paper to make it more rigid

MC can also be used on the paper ahead of time on not-so-good paper to make it viable for folding origami, such as copy paper.
