Origami is like food. You can love it and be obese. Or you can hate it and be and be a"cute". Or you can be a fail and your just that. A fail. Flickr : http://www.flickr.com/photos/76647015@N08/?saved=1

More pictures can be found in my gallery, or on my flickr.
Not bad; the neck's a bit long though. But I like the head--very expressive!

Agreed, excellent job with Joisel's Dwarf.

I refolded my fancy-schmancy goldfish:

I used 8" double tissue, which is about the smallest a sane person should go with this model :P

I always have trouble picking the right angle to photograph something... so you can see a 360 degree rotation of this model here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4g2hBFjzms

I think it will look better wet-folded, so I'll refold it.

WoW! That tourned out into a very eye-catching piece. Congrats! Also, thanks for the video, we can see it much better this way.

Tak ta se povedla. Taky budu ji budu dělat, ale ne tak uměleckou. :)
It is looking fantastic. I will do it too, but not so artistically, like you. :)

its a cool model, but kabutomushi's are hard. they are one of the hardest insects to make, and definitely to design

If you do a Google image search for "samurai helmet beetle," almost all of the results are origami. It seems we've kind of taken it for our own. :P
