I folded Mammuthus Primigenius by Satoshi Kamiya.

And Hippocampus by Roman Diaz.

I'm not as happy with the Hippocampus as i messed up the mane and the head, but I still like it :)

Nice job on both, but the hippocampus looks better. :) The mammoth looks like its spreading apart a little.

Thank You! I see what you mean about the mammoth. I was trying to make the face look more 'fur-like'.

I must agree with cowburger, I think the hippocampus is better as well. Still good job on them both! I've been thinking about folding the mammoth, what's it like?

The mammoth I found to be the easiest model in the book, apart from the notorious closed sink in step 45. I think the easiest way is the 'pushing in' method. Also the model isn't dependent on thin paper, I have folded it from the metallic paper, greaseproof paper and printer paper, they all seem to work well. Good luck, if you decide to fold it :)

I've never even heard of the animal before, but that's an amazing design!

Since I am free for a couple of days, I decided to do a horse study and design a horse while I'm at it.
All models below are done with a square of 25cm x 25cm tissue foil.

I have test folded Loggerhead Sea Turtle by Satoshi Kamiya.
Image

There are a lot of mistakes that I will correct in my final fold, but I still think it came out well.

And I folded Tyrannosaurus Rex by Fernando Gilgado.

This is one of my favourite models so far, I think it is excellent!
