Hi, I designed a wyvern and this is my first attempt at it. I also started making diagrams for it, but it is really exhausting so i was wondering if i made diagrams would anyone be interested in folding this? the crease pattern design was inspired by kamiyas bahumut.

That's interesting. Too bad I don't have the book, otherwise I would sure fold it for comparison.

That is a brilliant wyvern, I would be very interested in diagrams. How did you fit so much detail in it?

Thank you for the comments! i will finish the diagrams then, but it will probably take a week. the paper is just two layers of tissue paper treated with methyl cellulose. Also i forgot to say that the technical design of the teeth was inspired by shuki kato's giganotosaurus

That wyvern is so awesome! I can't show you how much i am blasting out radioactive waves of awe right now because i'm only able to type, i could put it into emoticons, but a mod would growl at me. :D
Let me at some diagrams  !

Lady with a rose

Folded from a square of 32cm double Unryu paper treated with methyl cellulose.
First time I try to design something with a face on it ;-)
I thing I will change the cp a bit so to create more obvious boobs (it did have now, but in the photo is not showing well).
Of course the rose, is a different piece of paper

Army Ant Soldier by FlareglooM, on Flickr

Folded and designed by me.
Grid: 64x64.
Technique: Boxpleating
Precreasing: 6 hours.
Collapsing: 5 hours.
Shaping: 3 hours.
Dimensions initial square: 70x70 cm.
Dimensions final model: Length: 26 cm - Width: 15 cm - Height: 8 cm

At first I thought I could not shape the base due to the amount of layers so it has been lying around for about a week. Today I decided to just try and it turned out pretty well. I am satisfied, that's the most important. For a potential refold I will definitely need thinner paper for some extra shaping.

But for now: On to the next project :)

Godzilla designed by Seiji Nishikawa. Just messing with some camera settings, and while I like it, the tail is annoying me. I'll have another go sometime soon.
