flower tower variations...

Post by johnathan »

After finding a 12-fold flower tower video and some odd crease patterns, I have reverse-engineered the 8-and-12-fold FTs. Any good variations and instructions?

PS no stacked ninja stars I already Reverse-engineered in from scratch. Both versions!

In this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5195 you can find many pictures of Chris Palmer's models, maybe one of them will interest you. As for diagrams or instructions on them, mostly from the CD's you buy online from Chris' webpage http://www.shadowfolds.com/

There are literally thousands of mandalas and fractals in YouTube and Flickr...German and Belgian artists like Jose Meeusen do Sterne which is another word for assembled flower from units...
Variations could be once you've understood how to do an octagon then you find the angles ..and try to fold Septagons..Hexagons..Decagons...The artist might not post with origami the title might be paper polygons or polyhedral math..
