Some very nice folds and excellent pictures. Especially the first few, great lighting on the dwarf and red hood. The twist on the hat of the dward is a nice touch. I was wondering what you did on the alien. You said you used hairspray, how does that work, and what does it do?

Hey roodborst! Thanks for this feedback. Often I have no patience when shooting photos...

Yes, the hairsprayed Alien 8) Senkwa paper is very thin and unstable. It dosn't keeps the folds very well. That's why I sprayed both sides with hairspray and let it dry again. Then I fold. As a result, it keeps the folds while remaining thin. Even after folding you can fix the model or details with more hairspray. But this is not so easy with the dosage. At that Alien I used hairspray after folding for the arms and legs. The model then smell for a while, but that will go away. Hairspay works similar as MC but you can spay it. Has pros and contras ;)

I didn't know about the hairspray trick, thx for sharing. The horse is absolutely wonderful. I folded a different horse today (Nicolas Gajardo Caballo) but it didn't turn out so great.

That's a nice trick with the hairspray. Never heard of it before. I might give it a try someday.

The horse's mane and tail has a wonderful sense of movement. Well done! :)

@roodborst

Yes, you have to try it ;) I always like it better to treat a paper in advance before the fold. As far as it goes, I avoid the further shaping of Hairspray, MC...

@Eamon
Thanks man :) But I don't like my mane shaping very much x)
