Re: Other Art Forms
Thanks!
I'm really getting better. Adding more detail, better eyes etc.

Re: Other Art Forms
Been trying to learn how to write music for the last year or so, and I'd like some feedback on how to improve if you don't mind.

Re: Other Art Forms
I don't know if this counts as art, but I found some metal kits at the dollar store. The kits are supposed to make little planes and such. Instead, I bought a bunch and came up with a metal figurine.
Here's what it look like from the front. The arms and legs are thin due to a lack of material. Also the reason the arms are the same length as the legs. You can see I gave him ab muscles, but the pectorals weren't really feasible without looking goofy and wasting resources.
And from the back. I tried to get as much physical detail right, such a the inclusion of deltoid and trapezius muscles on the neck and back, and hip bones lower down.
Here is a side angle, where you can see the detail of the shield.
And here is the closeup on the head. This part with somewhat tricky, as the head, unlike the rest of the body parts, isn't screwed on per se. Instead, I placed a separate piece inside the head that screws into the neck, and once those are together, the nuts inside the head cause it to lock in place.

Re: Other Art Forms
I finally was able to make a stand for my origami seahorse!
I started off with a wire frame:
Then I made I used cold porcelain to create the design:
I painted it:
And here is the final result:
I'm thinking of doing other stands for my models, as I have a bit of the cold porcelain left over.
