Help with Ziggurat

Post by Brimstone »

There are diagrams (well they are more like instructions) to do a Ziggurat at http://www.math.lsu.edu/~verrill/origam ... uaretwist/

I tried to do it, but i just don't know what to do with the 4 corners of the paper. They just get thicker and thicker with every step and i don't know what references to use to keep those corners on shape.

Does anyone know what to do here?

I fold the ziggurat Not so precise but this is my first attempt.
I'll try another one and I'll try to see if there is other ways to hide the paper in the corner.

I managed to understand those not so clear diagrams. It gets more complicated with each layer for the square corners keep getting thicker an thicker. Heres my second attempt Image
