Help with Treehopper by Robert J. Lang.

Post by pta_nahi »

Hi! I am new to folding these super complex insects and I am stuck in the first model itself that I tried to fold from this book. I don't understand what I have to do in step 24. This is the first time that I am reading an instruction which tells me to 'wrap' a layer. What exactly does that mean? Do I simply do a valley fold or do I sink the layer? If I do a valley fold, my model doesn't look like the illustration from step 25 and I get stuck later on if I do a sink.

Any help would be appreciated. Preferably, I would like you to break down step no. 24 so that I can reach 25 as it has been illustrated in the book.

The wrap fold is just like a sink fold. I figured out this step, but I am stuck again in step 32. Don't understand which trapped layer to release and what creases to make in step 33. Can someone help?
