I folded Attack of the Kraken by Brian Chan. :D

I used this forum a lot to work out how to twist the sail around and stuff, but it looked a bit messy, so I just folded the bottom sail on the front down to cover it up a bit  .

Probably the most complex model I'll fold while I'm still twelve.

Amazing job, JoeOrigami!
Perhaps, your paper was too thick though? Anyway, that's really great.

Thanks! Yeah, I used a 70cm sheet of Tant paper, it got really thick in some places especially in the two back tentacles :? . I might try it again using a much thinner sheet.

My two most recent folds are Djordje Jovanovic's "The Rising Sun" and a geometric model I arrived from doodling around with it that due to a lack of creativity I will simply call Dingsdi for now. Theoretically the rising sun would have a few steps more to shorten the rays to get a rectangle and layer the sun, but I like it better this way.
The Rising sun is folded from 15cm Tissue Foil, the Dingsdi from 18cm Duo Kami.

Designed for the monthly folding challenge. It uses the same base as my model The Return - roughly speaking the hand becomes the sword, the grave becomes the anvil, and the headstone becomes the stone.

Sword in the Stone 2.0. I've adjusted the design to fix the proportions - bigger stone, narrower sword.
