Hi. I've been aproached by a publisher to put together an origami book. I understand that consent from the original Authors is needed regarding any non traditional designs. But how exactly does one find said Author?!
Is Toshikazu Kawasaki Alive? Is there a way of getting intouch with their estate? I would love to include their rose in the book but only with their permission.

he's certainly alive. i would submit, however, that the kawasaki rose has seen so much publication, you might want to give someone else the spotlight.

I actually realised my mistake. I got the name of the design wrong. I meant akira Yoshikawa so I'll delete this thread and leave the other one open.

This is the author I actually meant. I'd gotten it into my head that the design was the Kawasaki but it's actually this one https://tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=http ... _fid=61605
