This is not the original model by Eric Joisel! (only reconstruction of design created by Eric Joisel) The process of folding was deducted solely from the photos available on the web and is not guaranteed to be correct.

Reconstruction by Andrey Ermakov
Opus: "rescue of the masterpieces" №4 of 12
Tracing paper+foil 50-50cm

The rhinoceros is beautiful, but it will never be the same as the one by Eric Joisel...

This was one of my first designs, but at the time I designed it it was a little outside of my ability to fold nicely. I just revisited it with the help of some Thai Banana paper - fitting, in a poetic sense, but too full of bark and stuff to be nice for folding. I might try it again at some point with better paper.

Pteranodon by Vincent Archard from Drawing Origami Tome 1

I want to get some leathery paper for the next time I fold it.

Hideo Komatsu's Jack o Lantern folded from CP.

By the way, a good and easy CP for beginners.

That's funny, I've just finished a large one from a 120cm square of Kraft about the time of your post. You should try with larger paper, it is alot easier to shape the details. Nice fold by the way.

Beautiful model anermark. I love it's curves and how its volume is simply insinuated.

This is my latest model: Money Talks.

It's already a couple of weeks old and it's actually my first model of the year.

Try to fold it with any banknote by just looking at its back. I show a couple of pictures and I add a little hint regarding references in the content: http://neorigami.com/neo/index.php/othe ... ks?lang=en

It would be really cool to see the model folded with banknotes from other countries! If you get it, post a picture or send it to me: gerardo(a)neorigami.com
