Hello,
I'm looking for instructions on how to fold the piece below and cannot find instructions anywhere:
I unfolded the omamori charm I got from Japan and it's definitely made from one folded piece of paper. The ends are tied together by a string and a knot. Any help would be much appreciated! Seems like a simple piece, but I am an origami novice.
Thank you!

I'd say it is a birdbase with the middle of the paper spread out into a square.

yes, that was the first thing that came to my mind, but how is it locked? Is it with that small sphere with a string attached?
We're all stories in the end.

Look at the model on the right. There is a string that is sewn through all the flaps. If you tighten it, the model will close.

As the OP said, "The ends are tied together by a string and a knot".
