I once was given a modular that was made from what looked like waterbomb bases that had their flaps connected by what looked like a "floor" I mean like some kind of pyramid but I lost it and would like to make me one.
Two large (I think made from one square each) of these bases were placed bottom to bottom and were held together by four similar bases but made from squares that were I think 1/4 of the size of the larger ones.
Now that I think about it, the model might have been complemented by another two small bases at the top and bottom not because they were needed to hold it together but to keep the symmetry of the model.
So does anyone know what model I'm talking about? Its creator and name? I would like to know to give the proper credit when I upload a photo of it.

From your description, I believe the model you are referring to is a variation using parts of a Christmas Tree model that according to this is most likely by Makoto Yamaguchi. https://www.origami-resource-center.com ... -tree.html as for who designed the variation or what its name is I'm not sure. Sorry but I hope this helped a little bit

That's definitively the module. I'll work with that. Thanks.

I can't picture it in my head from your description. Can you make a sketch of kinda what it looks like? Might it be Robert Neale's Sixfold Ornament? http://origami.jubile.fr/uploads/mediat ... 871-01.jpg

Gerardo, sorry for not having answered before I hadn't seen your reply.Gerardo wrote:I can't picture it in my head from your description. Can you make a sketch of kinda what it looks like? Might it be Robert Neale's Sixfold Ornament? http://origami.jubile.fr/uploads/mediat ... 871-01.jpg
The model looks like the one you linked to but it's made from a single module. It is the one mentioned by Axolotlbottle.
