Folding Kawasaki New Twist Roses Faster?
Does anyone have any sort of trick to fold Kawasaki roses quickly? It seems to take me at least 45 minutes to an hour just to fold one, and I need to make a lot for my sister's wedding. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for the reply. I showed my sister, but she said they were too boxy for her liking

Re: Folding Kawasaki New Twist Roses Faster?
I remember that Mark Leonard had a simplified CP for folding the Kawasaki rose. I googled it but could not find his page.
What I suggest is you fold one rose then unfold it and then figure out the basic creases that you will need to fold the rose. I remember them being quite less than in the model folded from the diagram.
Then you could fold the roses from the basic pattern or make yourself a template so that you don't have to pre crease anything but just collapse and shape.

I know only one rose that doesn't involve a grid, but it can be done quickly and looks really nice. Can't recall who designed it, but picked it up form a Youtube video.

I like this one from Youtube. It is in Masahiro Ichikawa's Only One Rose series. I think this is the fastest.
