Re: What have you designed lately?
Kabutomushi
Designed and folded by me
one uncut square of Agua Paper ( 31x31 cm )
Boxpleat 32x32 grid
This is the first asymmetric beetle I designed. It has a really interesting structure.
I made a lot of testfolds ( 4 x folding the whole model ) before folding this one. The collapsing process is really interesting. I´m really happy that I was able to get ( almost ) all the details I wanted it to have, especially the eyes
I will publish the CP soon.

Basilisk 2.1
Designed and folded by me.
39x39 cm Gerard paper
I made some small improvements, mainly on the wings and scales. I also tried to shape it better

Acanthostega gunnari, one of the earliest known 4-legged animals, dating back to the late Devonian period. It's a transitional form between aquatic and terrestrial vertebrates.
It had a whopping 8 digits on each limb, which for the design meant using complex "level shifters" and a whole lot of repetition. Folded from 1 uncut square.

Re: What have you designed lately?
Zhenyuanlong suni, a feathered dinosaur known from only a single fossil discovered in China a few years ago.
I've always wanted to design a feathered dinosaur, but I wanted to come up with my own way of making the feathers, and I wanted them incorporated into the crease pattern instead of simply making a bunch of creases on part of the paper.
And since there is already a million Velociraptor designs, I of course went for a dinosaur that hasn't been done before in origami.
One uncut square, diagonal symmetry.

Re: What have you designed lately?
With considerable tongue in cheek, I present a model which demonstrates just how strong paper can be. I call it –

Fairyfly, a very obscure type of wasp, recognized by their extremely small sizes, almost all being less than 1mm in size:
