HI,
I hope you guys are doing great. I have a new question for you guys, hope that's OK. You help me clear a lot of doubts I get.
I have an academic essay about origami, it's somewhere between philosophy of language and art studies. It's 15 pages long, including references. Although it's academic, it's style is very personal; intended for most 16 year old and older origamists. I want to post or publish it in the proper origami source. What source do you recommend for an essay like the one I'm mentioning?
Please help me out guys. I'm pretty lost with this one!

I highly recommend East Bay convention book which will be held next year as I believe. I had my first essay published there. It's a great book.
I also recommend JOAS magazine published annually by JOAS, or maybe some magazine type book published by other communities like OUSA. There's quite much of publication you can add your works on

Thanks greencube07! WOW... I thought convention books only received diagrams and crease patterns, not articles. What was your essay about? How long is it?

The first essay that I wrote was about using traditional bases like birdbase or blintzed frog bases. Most of my designs are based on those so I kinda studied a lot of that. It's not really long as I believe, not sure since it was years ago.Gerardo wrote:Thanks greencube07! WOW... I thought convention books only received diagrams and crease patterns, not articles. Most of the convention books do not receive articles, but some of them do and East Bay convention is one of them. Hope this helps you!
