Re: What have you folded lately?
Thanks for the photography advice, Baltorigamist. I will try to do that next time.
I agree that some of the folds aren't very clean. The giraffe got damaged in the long car drive back from the holiday. Also, I made the purple and pink tissue foil of the Pegasus quite badly since bits of foil show, and I didn't cut it to a good square. The cleanness of my folds seems to depend on the paper I use too. I will try and combat these issues in the future.

Here we go, my fold of the Divine Boar.

Folded by me from 30cm Terry tissue foil. I really like this model, it was fun to fold and turned out nicely.

Fold made with five varied units of the Cherry Blossom Ball. The Cherry Blossom Ball is by Tomoko Fuse. I used fiber tissue paper for the fold and I painted the cardboard and glued the fold to it . Made it as a thank you gift for someone.
I'm calling them tatortillas; I folded and heated two more of them. They had inside a chicken patty, mozzarella cheese, and a bit of BBQ sauce... yummy !
I'll probably have something more to share for tomorrow .
I must confess I prefer the prior fold with the shorter neck. Just my two cents .Goldtiger-997 wrote:That last one is a refold of my flamingo

Those tortillas are amazing! They look delicious

Turtle, created by Ivan Molina.
Loved the model! Folded from a 75 g/m² colored paper sheet of 15 x 15 cm (5 5/16 x 5 5/16 in). It's an intermediate complexity turtle with a layered shell. Check out how the head sticks out from it !
Nameless star unit for quilt, also created by Tomoko Fuse
Folded from a 60 g/m² manifold sheet of 24 x 24 cm (9 7/16 x 9 7/16 in) . Really like how the layers seem to be apart. Will a non-origamist assume it was folded with various sheets?
Thanks sable7! It takes some time to make them, specially since I use two spoons instead of my hands (so I don't touch the food that much), but I enjoy making them and thinking what to fill them with .sable7 wrote:Those tortillas are amazing! They look delicious

The turtle is so simple and cute. Also, the quilt unit layering is so wonderful

Re: What have you folded lately?
I hadn't found anything appealing for me to fold, fortunately you can always count on Tomoko Fuse for the rescue.
Folded from 3/4ths of an A proportioned rectangle of colored copy paper.

Wonderful design, as is the case with almost all of Tomoko’s work. Great fold, too. The flower on top looks separate!

Re: What have you folded lately?
Variation (I think) of Pinwheel. Original created by Nguyễn Hùng Cường.
I just removed unnecesary creases, making the fold curved instead of angled. Does that constitute a variation? Folded from a 20 x 20 cm (7 7/8 x 7 7/8 in) transparency sheet + fiber tissue paper. Hope you like it .
Very nice fold and picture !Bodo wrote:Brachiosaurus, designed by me
