I've just found I have three 40cm sheets of unryu left - orange, white and a creamy off-white. My experience with folding MC - treated unryu in the past has been great, does anyone know of any suitable mammals or birds for these colours?

Nguyen Hung Cuong's Eagle (diagrams in Licence to Fold)? It takes a few hours, but it's worth the time.

Robert Lang's Dancing Crane comes to mind for the white. I can't recall where the diagrams are, unfortunately.

Thanks, I think they're in ODS

Yes, diagrams are in ODS (2nd edition), and also in Tanteidan Magazine #90 (both CP and diagrams in there).
Also, the CP is available on Robert Lang website.

I got “Sage Green” Ogami as part of a New Year sale. I can cut a square up to about 50cm, and it’s pretty thin. I’m willing to fold supercomplex.

Shuki Kato's Giganotosaurus? (Paper might be a bit small, but if its Ogami…)

In my experience, 50cm paper is perfect for Shuki Kato's Gigantosaurus. A bit fiddly at the teeth maybe, but with larger paper bits like the legs would possibly be too floppy. Also, isn't Ogami the paper Shuki used for one of his folds of his Gigantosaurus? If so, that paper would be perfect for the Gigantosaurus. Alternatively, something like Fumiaka Kawahata's stegosaurus or a dragonfly such as Kamiya's may work well.

I don’t have Shuki’s book, unfortunately. I like the idea of a dinosaur, though; maybe I’ll try to design one. Thanks!

That wouldn't be a challenge at all, haha

I'm horrible at eyeballing reference points unless I know the proportions. xD But I could probably work it out if I had the CP overlaid.

I recently got some beautiful 110/120 gsm A4 stardream paper in several colours...its rather thick, but I don’t want to waste it on simple models, so do you guys know of any high intermediate to complex models that are suitable? Thank you!
