These are excellent. Perfect use of the bird base without showing the base's constraints

Those latest two are brilliant! A very dramatic picture and positioning too.

Thank you very much, I think/hope this will be the one I diagram. I just have to control myself from changing anything (the hardest part) during the process.

I can imagine. But maybe if I adjust the wings like this... and the head could be improved like this... and pretty soon you end up with a completely different model. Although if I was going to diagram any of them it would be either that one or this fire-breather from 5 months ago:

He taught one at our convention and another at our local meeting. Both brilliant!
