Blossoming flower help

Post by fuggigal1 »

Hi, new here. I have a question on how to fold this flower.

It looks somewhat like my friend's, but he just don't wish to tell me how to fold it ... :cry: so I'm here! I'll try to take a photo of his flower and put it up here. I remember it's something like the wings of a crane. In the same way the flower in the pic is like. But he folded 5 petals, just like a normal paper folded into 5 "Crane-wings" and he bent them. Looks very preety. If anyone can help, please.

Thx=)

Since this is my model I probably should reply.
Basically what you do for this model is to fold all 4 sides to the middle, forming preliminary folds at the corners.
Then bring this new square into a bird-base like shape, and open out the petals similar as in most of my other flower designs.

And don't forget that the bottom of the flower looks nice as well :-)

This model is on my list of "yet to be diagrammed" models, so if you are patient.... :roll:

I guess you could use the same folding sequence using a pentagon to get 5 leafs.
So long and keep folding ^_^
