I've never made anything Origamic ...hmm...is that even a word? :-k
Anyways... I was wondering if anyone here can tell me how to make a butterfly. Thanks!

hello, welcome to the board

you should try out the simple butterfly from http://www.oriland.de. look here.
as long as you are not familar with the origami signs, it could be tricky anyways. but there's a nice section with the origami symbols on the same page:

Here's nice Yoshizawa's butterfly
oh, I forgott, how nice that one is, thanks :)

after thinking about butterflies, I needed to fold montroll's butterfly from "bugs and birds in origami". it's turning out very nice, as long as you're using a thin paper.
