You know what ? You should ask him if an association between you two can exist : he gives you the CPs of his awesome creations, and you diagram it !!
Like this, we could have diagrams for phoenix, ryu zin, wasp, and so on, created by Satoshi KAMIYA, and diagrammed by Artur BIERNACKI !!!

Yay!! Lots of closed sinks!!!

Artur, have you figured out the new version's legs? (the ones with scales). He left that and the tail out of the new CP, since it only shows the head....

The most possible, of course !!!!
The only simple part in this CP is the middle part, with only parallel lines

The image in step one is just a close-up shot of a basic pattern. To make it, you pleat your paper in two places so they meet at a 90 degree angle. You then rearrange the layers and make a preliminary base. Maybe I'll throw up a CP if you need more help.

thanks to your explanation I think I can make a single of these "rough scales", but I'm not sure if I'm able to cover a whole piece of paper with that pattern. Although I'm a bloody beginner at CPs, one that shows a crease pattern of multiple "rough scales" really would help me, I guess.

thanks in advance

I use a mountain fold instead of the closed sinks so the edge is cleaner (not to mention the time saved!).
