Horiguchi Naoto - Sasaki Sadako (CP)

Post by Nathan »

I folded the base for Sasaki Sadako by Horiguchi Naoto, and I'm pretty sure I did it precisely. However, I don't know how to make it look like the final model. Here is what I have:

FRONT view (I did some work on the head)

Anyone help?

I can't help it, but I have the strange feeling that back and front are the other way round. Your head looks good, But aren't the arms supposed to come from behind and the long flaps down on the front are looking like arms to me.

Well I believe I have it oriented the right way...
...because like my base, most people have chins on their front and hair in the back...

More angles

You are right. Seeing the model from these angles helped a lot, but now I don't see where your problem is. Just bring the arms to the front and shape the whole thing like you did with the head.

-Well the arms don't want to come out all the way for the sleeve to be completely out. I could force it, but it doesnt seem right..
-I don't know how to make the front part of the kimono.
-Theres those two long skinny flaps at the back under her pigtails. What are those? Do they form the thing that goes over the sleeve as seen in this photo?
-If they do, then how? Those flaps really don't want to cooperate.
-Also, how to make the rest of the kimono?
so many questions >.<
The hardest thing for me in folding cp's is getting from the base to the finished model..

No. There is only a CP.
My Flickr

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.
