Hah, even when you do, you can collapse the CP flat and still be totally wrong. Get the guide (search for it) and it makes things a little easier, though it's incomplete (doesn't show how to do the hind legs and tail, which I thought was the hardest part).

Hi everyone,

I need some help collapsing the hind legs of Komatsu's lion, as I am using Roman's guide which doesn't show the legs and tail. Some photos would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Do we know anymore about the potential release date of Komatsu's book?

Unfortunately not. Last thing I heard was in December 2009 at the CDO convention, when Satoshi Kamiya told me it would be the next book to be published by Origami House... That's quite a while ago now.

good news! it seems as if the wait is over and the book will be released within the next month. it will contain not only the lion diagram, but also all his previously published diagrams, as well as a few of his "prototypes" (like the wolf). to make up for the long wait, it will also have a few "guest" diagrams from kamiya and hoyjo!

Hi guys! I've just folded this and I'm doing the shaping however I fear I may have folded the head/face wrongly =/
Here's a picture of what I have so far:
Image

And then you look at the finished model it doesn't have all the differen't layers towards the top of the head like mine does...... Is this normal/will change as I shape the head? Or have I done it wrong?

Any help would be appreciated!
