Wet-fold paper
I'm sure there's already a topic on this but if there is i cannot find it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me where i can buy wet fold paper online. I have heard that the Wyndstone Marble paper is good but cannot find anywhere to buy it. I even went to their website but once redirected to their dealer sites i cannot find the paper . I also want to be able to get a few different colors not just one. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Some people like watercolor paper, which comes in many different styles, thicknesses, and colors. A popular brand of watercolor paper is Canson "Mi Teintes". It is good for folding roses and other models that don't have too many layers stacked up, as it is too thick to accommodate very complex designs. It is cheap and good to experiment with if you are just starting out wet-folding (as I am ).

Do you know a website online where i can buy it? I don't have the time to scour stores for it and i live out in the boonies 45 minutes from town so if you could send me a link to an online store that carries it that would be great!

i know you said you live in the boonies, but if you are close to any strip malls whatsoever, michael's craft stores carry the canson's. i just checked their online website and they don't have it there. kim's crane used to carry elephant hide in precut squares of 12x12" in 3 different colors, as well as larger sheets--i don't know if they still do. you could try e-mailing them and asking: http://www.kimscrane.com

There is a michael's i can get to but i have never heard of this kims crane. I used to work at the mall and there are no stores that carry the paper i am looking for That's why i figured i could just get it offline but it is proving difficult since i really want the wyndstone marble. I've seen several pictures of models folded from it and they look beautiful!

http://www.kimscrane.com is a good source of paper or information.
Try: http://store765.collegestoreonline.com/ ... design=765
I found a number of online sites by searching Google for Wyndstone paper.
You might also try Elephanthide paper.

Elephant hide, Elefantenhaut and Wyndstone marble are three terms for the same thing. Elephant hide being the European name and Wyndstone marble the American.
Edit, sorry for the wrong spelling

I know they are all the same i was trying to find out where to buy some online. I did find one at the link listed by hanksimon but they only had the one color and i was looking for several. I checked the craft stores close to my house and they do not carry it or anything like it even. I tried using watercolor paper to wet fold with and i find it entirely too thick. The consistency is good but i need something thinner so my models don't turn out these big massive heaps of paper. Everyone seemed to like this marble/elephant hide paper so i thought i would try that but it is impossible to find a good seller it seems.

First off, a small spelling clarification: it is Wyndstone, not Windstone. Just in case you want to do an online search.
Good luck finding elefanthide-it is hard to come by, from what I've heard. And it is also thick paper-if you are expecting something thin, you may be disappointed. It is good, but thick.
