Where to find the right paper

Post by rayphoenix1080 »

I'm looking for some paper that is black on both sides. I've looked at different stores online, but all of the ones I have seen are black only on one side. Does anyone know where I can find double sided paper?

Really all handmade papers are the same color on both sides. Find a black sheet and you're in business. You could also back-coat two sheets together with the black sides facing outwards. You could also make tissue-foil, which gives you complete control of the colors as long as you can find the right color tissue paper, which comes in many different colors (including black, of course).

You didn't specify the type of paper (kami, washi) you're interested in but you might have better luck looking for an assortment pack of double-sided papers as black is often included. Check for double-sided color origami packs at Kim's Crane: http://origamipapersandbooks.com/catalog/index.php

Happy folding.
