Welcome to the forum! You don't need to feel sad that origami is not important in your country, in my country, origami is a sissy thing to do!

Welcome aboard.

The popularity of origami is growing in South America, with excllent organisations in Chile, Colombia & Brasil, &, of course, Roman Diaz from Uruguay.

Argentina has a great history with origami, as both Adolfo Cerceda & Ligia Montoya are Argentinian
Lets hope you can help popularise Origami in Agrentina again!

Origami USA (OUSA) lists 4 Argentinian Origami Groups that might interest you:

Welcome to this site. I think origami is for anyone to feel it and take it as an art. I neither meet books about origami in my town..
