ha ha ha you are all going to say that I am really annoying but this is not the intention...
does anyone know where the circled part of paper comes from? i really think its the most important part to cracking the shaping
sorry for asking so many questions it´s just that this is my favorite model ever.

You are NOT annoying, 飛竜, and you have rights to ask for help.

I once got that part of the wing. I don't know if it was correct or not. For a long time I haven't tried to fold this model. But let me time to recollect it.

PS I'd like to fold the second type.

hey 飛竜 any luck or progress on the wings? Ive folded everything but the wings too... i want to finish the model so badly... It was my first time folding the model and im happy with what i came out with it, since im not too good at CPs yet. but im stuck on the wings.

It you figure out the wings, or anyone who has folded the wings (Kafar, Artur, Kamiya??(lol)) can you please give us some insight on the method to fold them? video or pictures or something?

maybe this could help someone... The back view of wings made by Kade Chan. These wings arent exactly like Kamiya' i believe, but they do look pretty nice.

Hi i have a wueston about the chest. I have folded everything ok(not in this photo, with this one i just experiment), but the chest is not ok i think ; D One guy suggested to pull out excess paper and make tail longer behind. Now what i need to do with the "chest" - red circle ?

Thanks,

gather layers

Post by 飛竜 »

well i see what you mean i looks awkward because of the order in which you did some procedures
the chest is correctly folded before pulling excess paper between the legs gather the folded wings like accordeon and fold them back so that in profile it looks like an upsidedown "L" then you procede to pull the excess paper if not then the circled part becomes a problem and the chest or sometimes other parts become affected

What order of which procedures?
gather the folded wings like accordeon and fold them back so that in profile it looks like an upsidedown "L"
could you draw a scheme of a profile, because now i cant imagine what you are all about.

At first I tested folding the wing separately on a piece of paper.
Now I have to fold a phoenix and test the wing of it.
