Satoshi Kamiya - Little Bird

Post by FrumiousBandersnatch »

Okay, so I'm stuck. Step 99 has a large gray area blocking the drawing of the result of step 98. Consequently I can't see how my fold from 98 is supposed to end up. And now that I look...I'm not certain what step 99 is telling me to do... Can anyone help?

thank you! I realized I had been looking at the wrong vertex in 98...which means that 99 is what you said...just turning the paper inside-out!

Well, while I haven't seen the diagrams for the little bird, I can tell just from looking at the models that the yellow bird and little bird are nothing alike.

List of things "Little Bird" and "Yellow Bird" have in common:
  • 1. They are both by Kamiya
    2. They both have bird in the title
    3. They are both complex.

Little bird is actually considerably trickier to fold than Yellow Bird.

Ember - I know that the Moderators have said this occasionally in a couple of places in the forum, but please, no abbreviations; on my first reading of your post, I thought that I saw "tyrna," and it took me a couple of seconds to realize that you were abbreviating "Trying to." It's not that much more effort to type out the whole word. Oh my God, Haha, or Sorry, are not that difficult to type out either.

Having said that, I would have to agree with what Chris said - Roman Diaz's Sparrow is nicer than both of Kamiya's birds :D.
