I think the extra flap of the wing should be open-sinked.

can some one provide an example of what to do on step 44 in the 3.5 phoenix diagram

There is no diagram for the phoenix, there is only a crease pattern.

i guess you don't like reading the forum rules or lurking.

doing both will demonstrate 1) that there are no legal diagrams of the phoenix, and 2) the forum in general does not talk about illegal diagrams.

Lurking and illegality aside, can anyone tell me if this fold will work with 35cm kami? or rather 60cm tissue foil which im getting in two weeks?
sorry its just that im new to both cps and this forum, though not to complex models, and I do have some understanding of CPs :wink:

People have folded tiny Phoenixes. The recommendation for size is a suggestion based on experience of the folder.

did you read through the thread at all? there are posts that clearly discuss the difficulties involved in the model if your starting square is smaller.
