...then instead of rubbing it in, Slater, why don't you volunteer to help him out if he gets stuck again?

Thank you oz. It's funny slater, you say you've folded it three times...must not have been that great a result, because I can't seem to find one on your flickr. :)

i'm not sure frumious is actually having difficult with the model, either. he's just being nitpicky (whereas when i had difficulty around step 69, i just threw it away and started again).

yeah, nitpicky indeed....but...dont give up and throw away...you got this model....its got some tricky parts but....its totally foldable and i would even say fun to fold. ive folded about four of these now for various people and they all love it. dont give up. keep folding. good luck!

I'm allowed to be nitpicky! I just hate getting to step 189 and realizing that I had a landmark or something wrong a hundred steps back...

i'm not saying you shouldn't be, frumious. certainly, i would be had i gone through the trouble of making tissue foil (or preparing any other paper) before folding any model, and i would certainly refuse to throw away any expensive hand made papers. personally, i insist on a few test runs with something disposable, which is easy since i have almost nothing except disposable paper.
