2nd fold, added about 4" to the length of the paper so the connection between the bird and the deer could be routed down the left side and not be visible.

Lang's ant from Insects & Kin. Came out kinda bigger than I expected for some reason.

Nice Cuckoo Clock! :) And personally I don't like the ant model itself very much (compared to some others by Lang), but it still looks nice

My own mouse. The ears are supposed to be pink, but the pink tissue, for some reason, doesn't like black. So when I tried to make triple tissue, I got this dull, grey pink. A second tissue piece didn't help.

And Eric Joisel's Mermaid.

She was caught in a fishing net. ._.
I don't think it could be dignified to be called his mermaid Dx Everything else was so beautiful, but then when it came to the face, I got stumped. All the methods for making the face from memory (that's how I wanted to work at the moment) just made it feel wrinkled, and old. But from what I remember, her face was so smooth and sculpted. So I added some glue and... she just looked terrible. Ah well. Good for a reminder not to over work paper. The breasts were starting to look funny anyways.

Thanks gachepapier

This is the way to think this polypolyhedron: the six hollow faces of a cube are separated, translated radially outwards from the center, and each rotated the same angle clockwise about their center, then are moved inward until they interweave. 8)

Thanks mummykicks

This model is different from those by Michael Naughton and Jorge Lucero because in this case the units are flat and are only 6 instead of 24

Nicely done! Glad you enjoyed it :D
Looks like you found easily the right proportions of the strips
