AK827: that gorilla is really rather impressive, especially the shape of the head. The shoulders look really powerful and it all really says "silverback" The model looks like it needs little shaping from the base and I have to say that is my favourite sort of model! In my eves, your model is perfect. . cp please [-o<

Thanks guys! I already neatly hand drew the diagrams for the gorilla and 7 other designs of mine. I am hoping to get the diagrams published soon. I wonder if Nicolas Terry will take hand drawn diagrams...

This one was fun! My sheet was a 17-inch square of tissue foil, I think I'll use a bigger sheet next time.
The head looks better in 3-D.

Just finished RJ Lang's samuri helmet beetle. I need a camera that isn't my phone so I can post pictures...

for an exhibition i take part in at our local library i designed a weapon for my samurai - a naginata (made from a rectangle 1:4)

This beetle live and eat the palm trees. When I learned that many such trees died from the beetle here in Greece, I decided to try to make one from paper. This is the result!
