Guns

Post by RamblerMann66 »

I'm currently trying to create a model of a M-16 assault rifle. I've got the basic shape of it, but it lacks details, and im not happy with it. It is too thick, and I can't figure out a way to lock it. i've been using a bird base. Suggestions? Are there any diagrams already of a m-16?

Do you have a picture? It might be easier to get/give suggestions with a picture.

If you have troubles with thickness and locking you should try to fold it using foil paper, that might resolve the problems :)
Concerning details, if you have your basic shape fixed, try to add grafts in the places where you want to have more details before folding the basic shape.
So long and keep folding ^_^

I'll try to post pics, but i dont have a digi cam, so i'll have to borrow my dad's. As for the grafting, im not exactly sure how to do that.

The CP is comming! I'll have to fold another one tho. This time I'll use actual origami paper (I used notebook paper for the first couple attempts)
