Basilliscus by OrigamiPete
The paper choice was great, but it started falling apart. I don't think I used enough MC on it, as the tissue actually peeled from each other x-x so I had to use a bit of clue and MC on the head. But, aside from that, everything else is chipper. Now... Mind you, it was fairly difficult to distinguish some parts from another, and it got a bit confusing espesially, so I basically went "duck it, I'm crimpling this bitch" and so I did, without much direction x-x;;; I'm a horrible person. Now sadly, you can't see the eye very well. But everything is awesome in my tastes. I actually used a photo of the lizard to pose it.

Lynx by Alex Kimball
It's very tiger like. triple tissue. White sandwiching yellow. I edited the trails in the face to make it more lynx like. I didn't like the ending of it. Nothing much else aside from shaping is differend from the inteded diagrams. If you ask me, there's not enough origami lynx. I've only seen one other as I recall.

I made double tissue using black tissue paper and elmers craft glue. It was pretty good for this project.

Jumpurge, thanks for folding my lynx, sorry you didn't like it too much. Any suggestions on making it more lynx-like would be appreciated.

Haha, no worries. It was a small aspect. :)
I love the model. It's open bottom, similar to the smilodon by Kamiya, gives it a great shape. I suggest maybe closing the stomach by instead of tucking in some flaps, maybe, putting them together?
I can't recall the step, but there is a step where you thin out the back legs and you get this large flap that's tucked in, that has potential to be a belly. If that's a suggest you'd like to consider?

Thanks for the advice, maybe I'll try that and see how it goes. If it goes well I will post pictures.

Star Tessellation - Evan Zodl
Designed and folded August 2011. Folded from a hexagon of golden wrapping paper. Obviously, this is not the best paper for this model, but I am pretty satisfied with the result. If you are interested in the CP, please let me know!

18cm piece of kami. It gets thick and hard to fold Maekawa's Devil after awhile. And I screwed up but other than that the difficulty level is over-rated. I found it extremely easy.
