I'm curious. I've seen many hedgehogs with more spines than the baby one. And this one was the final straw:

How on earth do people know how much to pleat to get that many rows? x-x I see it all the time, same rows over and over D':

Time for payback, Jum....
As Eric Joisel stated (i think) "Babies have 5 ranks of shapes, older ones have 7 ranks." That was relating to the origami, i think it is a simple matter of adding extra pleats all around the model turning from 32 : http://www.ericjoisel.com/ps_assets/pdfs/hedgehog.pdf
To 64, then just finishing the model normally.
