Use a strip graft or something for longer hair, to assume femininity

instead of making the long flap that would make the dwarf's hat into a hat, make it into long hair by crumpling it downwards.

Also open the parts around it so it can maybe poof :P It really depends on personal aesthetic appeal.

I must be stupid, but I cannot figure the chest area to this model out at all! I saw the little diagrams on the previous page, they didn't give much help, sorry. I've been at this for acouple of hours now and got nowhere.

No. No I haven't.
I try to express what I can with words as best I can, because language is not my best section. I'm more image oriented, and ideas are hard to express in words. So I wasn't putting it off, but flexing myself as far as I could in trying to be clear. :/
And... it seems not to work.

I would really like to thank you for the video! I feel stupid that I didn't figure that out. Again, thanks! If I had a camera I could show you how well I did.

Wow, cool vid JumPurge. I can't believe you had to do that many folds just to get the bust of the ... erm, bust. At first I thought you were going for the whole mermaid, based on all of the folding in the vid.

I love your mermaid as well.

I can, but I wont.
I do NOT have the time, origami is my art, but it is not my first, nor can it be at the moment.
Also, I refuse to show how to make a whole mermaid because I think it would be disrespectful to Joisel to do that. Maybe the base, minus scales... but that wont be around for a long time. It would probably start as literal instructions before video.
I also don't have a tripod or video editing software, so anything is... pretty much a dream within a dream.

I thought the same...

Anyways, I will give the mermaid a try, I have already folded some Joisel's models.
If I make it I'll post photos.
