the colors on the cp represent the layers in proximity to the axis.....as for the references..id say use reference finder..but im not sure.....good luck!

I finally got a printer, printed it out and I think it's a grid of 25x25. Thanks for the help Marc.

This is the flying crane model that I most like the look of, however looking at the crease pattern it appears to have a ratio of 4:12+7√2 for the ratio between the 4 unit wide strip and the fish base section. Is this right? If so, does anyone know how to find this reference? Of course, I could just use ReferenceFinder, but using the exact reference is more satisfying.

Your best bet would be finding the center of the fish base, I think. Draw a line (manually or digitally) from one side corner through that point, and find where it hits the opposite edge. Just from eyeballing it, it looks close to a fish base proportion itself.
