lucky. my library has these crappy books that are so simple a gnat could make the models in it.

and no; I have origami: from angelfish to zen
there isn't many diagrams, theres more text. a lot of the models are simple (well the book is from the 80's...)
but they still look nice.

Nope, it's a fractal model.
Basically, if you fold it, there's enough flap to make the same fold as before. The result is the same thing as before, a flap to repeat the other step. And it goes on... Forever.
Or until you have a finger cramp. :3

EDIT: Whoops. Only saw the pyramid, not the impossible shape representation. Yeah, it does look like a modular. Good too.

i don't know, i saw this http://www.flickr.com/photos/7943052@N08/4821323561/ and made one.. actually, the description says it's made from 3 4x1 rectangles. i used 3 2x1 rectangles (well, i actually used 3 lots of 2 rectangles stuck together for the colour changes)
have fun.

Chris Palmer doesn't have any books just CD's, but this one is in none of them. It was reversed engineered by Andrew Hudson from a picture I'd taken.

ryu zin 2.1 by tomasz kowalczyk, on Flickr

finally i found time to fold it again (i had almost precreased sheet lying on the floor for over a month and waiting for me). it is made from 70cm sheet - turned out very small, scales are smaller than 0.5 cm long.

it is my third attempt to 2.1 version. i'll try to fold 3.5 when i have more time and bigger paper :)
