I've been a bit laggardly about this, both due to my weak google-fu and the fact that my meager efforts pale in comparison to the creations of our resident savants. Nonetheless, Kawahata's dragonfly in tissue foil. Not exactly new, but at least on this side of acceptable I hope.

Awesome models! I especially like the dino, Jason. (As Brimstone said, it's great to see new models.)

Nice Aphid, Black terror, though I'm usually squishing them on sight at this time of year!

Some fat little birds from a preliminary base:

Folded from double hanji paper, I used a glue stick to bid the two sheets as I'm having no luck with mc lately (always comes apart at the corners)
The paper was a little soft but they've held together nicely.

Hi everybody,

after one year of hard work I can finally show you the result of my great origami project: my own version of Joisel's Great Origami Jazz Band.

Image

You can find all about this project in my blog http://picaruelo-english.blogspot.com.es

Thank you to all of you that have helped me with this project, with your comments, advices or simply by looking at the photos and comments I have been releasing during this last year.

A project ends and another one will soon begin :D

Good folds!!!
