Monthly Folding Challenge - February 2009

Post by BluePaper »

This month's topic will be sea life. That means anything from the smallest micro-organisms to the largest whales. Anything from the bottom of the ocean to the surface.

To avoid making this topic too broad, we'll be doing only sea life. Animals from lakes, ponds, and streams will just have to wait for their turn.

I'm not going to be too specific with rules, it must be your own design, it has too be new(to us), no cutting, and one sheet is prefered (you can use multiple if you want).

As the winner of January's challenge, Quentin (qtrollip) will be this month's judge, and will pick the topic for next month's challenge.

So happy folding and good luck!

Sounds good! There was a small "aquatic life" challenge before, not one of the monthly challenges. However, I don't recall many submissions. Looking forward to this.

I was thinking of a different one... I can't remember the name of it. I'd forgotten about that one

And also qtrollip judged
Anyway, lets hope this time we have more entries. That one lacked a bit. I want to see another judge suffering like in past month

My very first original design was a turtle... I haven't post it here so it's suposed to be "new" for the most of you... However, I posted it at my flickr one year ago and someone must have seen it there... anyway, it's here:

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Made a Manta Ray off the top of my head while I was in work, I'm quite happy with it, but I just googled Manta Ray and saw that the tails are actually a lot thinner - Ah, well.

Come on guys - this challenge is dead.
If there are only 4 submissions this month, one person is going to be really mad at me if he/she is the only person not making it into the top 3!!!!
C'mon, get your thinking hats on and start designing some sea life!

Doing the best I can :P but I'm kinda busy ....
And this will be my first design so I also want it to look nice (I am probably making something that is out of my league  )

To the submissions! REALLY NICE! :D
