Hello everyone,
during one of our Origami Austria Meetings we discovered an innovative new folding method for the traditional crane.
We would need some test folders who could give us some feedback about the folding technique and the diagrams.
You can find the diagrams on the Origami Austria Homepage in the section articles.
Have fun and keep on folding,
Anna & Gerwin

Very interesting... But my impresion of the "traditional crane" is a simple model for the most beginning folder. I did not acctually fold the model, I just looked over the diagrams (I might fold it sometime). But it looked a lot more complicated than the traditional crane (closed sinks, double rabbit ears). those are all common to folders who have folded some time, but the starting folder?
Nice new way to fold the crane. It will use more time, hence improving the viability of a folder folding this rather than a more complex model when waiting

Anna's and my contributions to the Christmas Book 2006 have been added to the diagrams section of the Origami Austria homepage. You can also find the CP for my Tony Tony Chopper there.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Well, it's been a while since my last post, so here some of the things that have been happening on the Origami Austria homepage since then (for those who haven't noticed yet):
We added a section for book reviews which will hopefully grow in the future.
The gallery of "models by members" has been redesigned and filled up a bit.
There're quite a few new diagrams and CPs as well.
CPs have their own section on the homepage now with links to some useful CP resources.
Oh, and after like 2 years the text on the mainpage has finally been updated

It's about time for the yearly update about what's new on our homepage.
Quite a few diagrams have been added recently (including our submissions to the Christmas Book 2008).
Also, since I have abandoned my blog (it was just too much work...) I have packed all the CPs from there with additional informations into PDF-files and added them to the Crease Pattern section.
And of course you can find pictures of all the conventions we've been to in the Articles section.
In case anyone is interested we also have an RSS-feed available, where all the important updates (which don't come very often) will be posted. You should be able to subscribe to the feed from any page on our homepage, provided your browser supports it.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.
