Brill's Brilliant Origami

Post by Quantum Phoenix 3 »

Hello, I would really love to purchase David Brill's Brilliant Origami, but I can't find it being sold anywhere. I checked Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon (I found it on Amazon, but it was selling for like 80 USD...?!). Does anyone have any idea where I can find it at the actual price (I saw it was $20 at Borders, but for some reason, they can't order it from the publisher)? I would really appreciate this, as I want to fold the lioness as a graduation present for one of my friends.

I remember hearing that after all these years the book was being discontinued. That may be what's happened.

Sources suggest that it is, indeed, OOP.
The best price I found (in five minutes of searching) was $50.

Wow, such a fast inflation, the prices are quite insane. I mean, a $20 origami book thats been out since 1996 going for $50-$80? Outrageous.

Hey, thanks everyone. I'll check out those sites.

For any other viewers' information, I actually contacted David Brill, who told me that the book was out of print in the English edition but there is actually a Brazilian version still available.

I have the English version.
Some Brazilian bookstore websites carry the Brazilian version:

http://www.submarino.com.br/books_produ ... Id=1898959

It's pretty cheap, less than 20 USD
