"Works of Satoshi KAMIYA" absolutly

Mine are:
Origami Sea Life: My first book with truly complex designs, it really inspired me to invent and invent
Origami to Astonish and Amuse: I like Shafer's witty writing style and interesting pieces.
Seres de Ficcion and Works of Satoshi Kamiya: Though some of the pieces are super-complex, it is already great to just flip through the diagrams.

Origami Sea Life by Lang and Montroll.

Underwater and aquatic subjects are so charming.

Well, I cannot choose between three books :

"Origami for the connoisseur" by Kasahara and Takahata. The first origami book I bought. There's all sort of stuff in this book, and it covers a large range of origami styles, with some truly elegant designs, like those by Kawasaki.

"Origami to astonish and amuse" by Jeremy Schaeffer. This guy is totally insane, and he is quite brilliant too, I love his warped sense oh humour !

"Advanced origami" by Michael Lafosse. Few designs, but there are all very elegants, with a lot of attention to shaping and modelling, and the text on paper choice, creation and customisation is a must have.

Stationery Flight, though I may be a bit biased...

I haven't been around a lot of books, considering most of what I do is make cranes again and again. I've collected a few about letters and objects and animals, very generic things.

The one that appeals to me the most is "The Art and Wonder of Origami" by Kunihiko Kasahara. A vast majority of them combinations work on flat designs, which rather appeals to me since I cannot keep the various large models that others have.

"Origami Essence" tops my list, but "Origami to Astonish and Amuse" comes in at a close second.
